G.O. Automobiles, the official importer and distributor of JSW MG Motor India vehicles in Nepal, has launched the new MG Hector for the Nepali market. The SUV was officially launched on May 21, 2026, at the MG showroom in Thapathali, Kathmandu, with prices starting at Rs 66.99 lakh and going up to Rs 80.99 lakh.
The launch comes shortly after the company introduced the MG Windsor and MG Comet in Nepal, further expanding MG’s lineup across multiple automotive segments in the country.
According to the company, the new MG Hector arrives with updated styling, enhanced technology, premium interior features, and improved practicality.
The SUV is positioned as a spacious and feature-focused offering in its segment, targeting buyers looking for a combination of comfort, connectivity, and everyday usability.
Compared to the earlier-generation Hector previously available in the market, the latest model receives significant upgrades in design, technology, cabin experience, and overall premium appeal. The SUV also features smart connectivity functions, advanced safety systems, and a more refined interior layout.

Powering the new MG Hector is a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine producing 141 bhp and 250 Nm of torque. It is available with both a 6-speed manual transmission and a CVT gearbox option.
The SUV comes with a 60-litre fuel tank, a 2,750 mm wheelbase, and 17-inch and 18-inch wheel options depending on the variant.

In Nepal, the MG Hector is available in four variants: Select Pro MT, Smart Pro MT, Smart Pro CVT, and Plus Sharp Pro MT 7-Seater. The base Select Pro MT variant is priced at Rs 66.99 lakh, while the top-spec Plus Sharp Pro MT 7-Seater variant is priced at Rs 80.99 lakh.
